The newly acquired FA-50 may be used for the first time against the NPA rebels after President Duterte ordered AFP to drop bomb on NPA rebels.
“I will allow the police and the military this time to use all available assets…airplanes, jets, use them…rockets. Collateral damage, pasensya” President Duterte said.
When the reporters asked Duterte if the recent ambush affect the peace talks, Duterte replied: ““There is no peace talks for now. It’s totally absent so in the meantime, I will just ask also the armed forces and the police, just go ahead, wage a war against them, anything goes for now.”
President Duterte condemened the recent attacks conducted by the NPA rebels against the government forces and believed that the war might be continued for the next 50 years.
“They better choose. I’m ready for all-out war, another 50 years…fine…So what you receive you give also,” the president said.
“But I can assure everybody that the Armed Forces and the Philippine National Police will respond. This time, I’m using everything. I have encouraged the police to call in the air assets and the new jets, make use of the rockets, bombs,” he added.
